Natural Garry oak knoll, on grassy meadow shrubby slope with understory of Symphoricarpos albus, Mahonia aquifolium, Cytisus scoparius (which is being removed in piles) Two patches noted, both about 7 x 5 m; evergreen shrub, 1 m tall with remains of dried fruit capsules, no flower buds yet though flowering in sunny sites in Victoria at this time; site noted by Hans Roemer at UTM 10U 465765 5366216.
