Full sun, steep south slope, orange serpentine soils, with Ledum, Thuja, Spiraea, Gaultheria, Juniperus, Pinus contorta. Hundreds of plants, weedy. Phenology: Fruits.

Steep south slope, full sun, orange serpentine soils, near abandoned olivine mine, near scattered Pinus contorta. Taprooted, petals white, sticky stems, branches and flowers; numerous in opening, near ridge crest, on exposed rocks and soil, almost absent in areas of native vegetation, also present on nearby forest/shrub border. Introduced experimentally nearby in 1964 (Amer. Midland Naturalis 116: 402. 1986) now naturalized. Phenology: Flowers.

Taprooted, petals white, sticky stems, branches and flowers; c. 8-10 plants seen along road. Introduced experimentally nearby in 1964 (Amer. Midland Naturalist 116: 402. 1986) now naturalized. Phenology: Flowers.
