Prostrate, occasional on open sandy shoreline, with Gnaphalium palustre.¶ Sepals somewhat unequal in length and width; sepal hairs ca 1/3-1/2 length of sepals, all ca same length on most flowers (a few shorter finer hairs present on some flowers); hypanthium with sparse shorter hairs, these straight to very weakly hooked; stamens 3 in most flowers, 4 or 5 in some flowers.
