Top of bank in dry sandy soil at end of disused track spur; growing with Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, Poa bulbosa, Dichanthelium oligosanthes, Danthonia spicata, Apocynum androsaemifolium. Single flowering clump with 3 non-flowering clumps; possibly a cultivar dumped from garden waste long ago; petals pink, appear unbearded and more laciniate, plants larger than pure species (?)
