Cultivated; plant is in full bloom. Low evergreen spreading shrub 1 m high by 2 m wide; woody stems are green at the base and purple near the ends; glossy leaves are dark green above the lighter green below; flowers are creamy white with light pink sepals; source: scion of cultivated plant material of known wild origin recieved form the Washington Park Arboretum, Seattle, Washington, USA.
