Slopes from flat to 45% with flat to various exposures. Moist, excellent sites -Thuja plicata/Pachistima myrsinites h.t.. Excellent timber growing country, especially Abies grandis and Thuja plicata. Plants growing on all slopes and on cut and fill slopes of road in large clumps - in a clear cutting. In some places the clumps made up almost continuous mantle of vegetation, very abundant, blooming profusely and with a pleasant odor. Phenology: Flowers.
