Near head of Line Creek immediately north of the Wyoming state line & Bighorn NF Road 11. Ungrazed Deschampsia cespitosa/Elymus trachycaulus meadow on slightly E-dipping slope of limey clay-loam with scattered surface rock of whitish limestone. Vegetative cover ca 90% and 30 inches high. First record for the state of Montana. Phenology: Flowers.
