Montana: Lincoln County: Cabinet Mountains, east face of Snowshoe Peak, ca. 150 ft. below the summit. Elev. 2500 m.
48° 13' 40" N, 115° 40' 40" W
On sparsely vegetated alpine ledges, with Dryas octopetala and Carex albonigra. This nunatak site is 4000 ft. above the nearest trailhead, and about a 12 hour bushwhack one way; the site probably stuck out a good 700 meters through the ice. Phenology: Flowering and Fruiting. Isotype: Senecio spribillei W.A. Weber. Published 2002. Sida 20(2): 511 (-513; fig. 1). 2002 [23 Nov 2002].
