Bare gravelly area along CN roadway. Growing with the more abundant Hieracium flagellare, but these plants with narrower leaves, more slender stems and stolons; smaller, more numerous ( ± 1-7) heads; introduced weed from Europe.

Along railroad tracks, gravel piles & service roads. Many plants; two distinct forms or varieties were growing here, one showing more the features of Hieracium pilosella; this more like Hieracium pratense.
