I first discovered the plants on June 5, 2000 on a BLM survey for Paul Hosten; in 2001, I revisited the site noting most flower heads had been eaten; collected 1 plant.

Site is overrun with exotics i.e. Taeniatherum caput-medusae, Poa bulbosa, Bromus tectorum; natives include: Festuca idahoensis, Amelanchier alnifolia, Quercus garryana, Ceanothus cuneatus, Prunus subcordata, Purshia tridentata. 6 plants. Plants forming seeds, nearly ripe, some late bloomers. BLM survey for Paul Hosten, veg-soil-weed-survey 6-1-2000 to 8-30-2000. This is a scan Phenology: vegetative.
