Ridgeline and upper slopes of Chumstick Formation in opening in Pinus ponderosa forest. Soil friable tuff-like sand over sandstone. Slopes steep and substrate loose. HerbariumSpecimenDuplicate: Lomatium roneorum Sparse. 45 plants observed, population probably of 100-200. 1-3 plants per sq meter where present. Often absent from seemingly suitable sites.
