Oregon: Grant County: Malheur National Forest, Vic. Greenhorn, about 1 mi WSW from Greenhorn ghost town, on E-W ridgeline of mountains. Elev. 2135 m.

Sloping, south-facing talus field just above treeline with small creek from snowmelt running in ravine. On dry, alpine flats and also on S-facing slopes still saturated from snowmelt. Locally abundant perennial herbs of exposed, rocky areas and disturbed substrates. Frequent. Plants mostly prostrate, with inflorescences held on long branches, close to ground. Inflorescence branches distinctly unequal. Flowers cream-white, not pure white, tinged with yellow. Silica gel-dried material is available upon request. Phenology: Flowers & Fruits.
