Sparingly naturalized in mowed seasonally wet meadow, scattered long ago by plowing, full sun, saturated soil, with Phalaris arundinacea, Alopecurus pratensis, Veronica scutellata, Spiraea douglasii, Rosa nutkana. Tepals white 38-43 × 21-26 millimeters wide, corona bright yellow, 14-19 millimeters high, 20-35 millimeters wide, floral tube 17-25 millimeters long, stem 2-edged. Phenology: Flowers.
