Cultivated; garden plot. Robust plant 2+ m tall, with attractive purple-pink new growth tips on a green plant; purple colour faded almost completely during slow drying in press; probably planted as a leafy vegetable (tree spinach), no sign of flowering yet, but a strip of 10+ little plants also grew among weeds and garden escapes in a topsoil strip by the alley.
