Forest soil; roots of conifer trees. It is a non-gilled fleshy mushroom that resembles a coral in its morphology. The mushroom is of a pale, creamy-white colour. The base is quite enlarged and wrinkled in comparison with the branching part of basidioma. The flattened tips of the branches fork into a few (3-4) little slightly yellow projections. The height of the mushroom is 55 mm.
