Plot is very open w/ bog-like open area w/ trickling water & water-loving vascular plants. In the wet area there is a thick layer of moss. Herb layer is extremely diverse. CADE3 most common tree w/ some mature & young ABCO. Some extremely mature CADE3 on & off plot. Lots of bioturbation on plot (lots of holes esp animal holes). Site is on ridge & may get fog. Slope 32%. Aspect 241°. . Substrate: giant CADE base of bo.
