Grove of large hackberrry (to 25' tall in draw) just above Ck draw on s-facing hillslope. Medium lichen diversity but high lichen cover. Most of the trees have mossy boles.. Two Leptogium spp. found. Also an unfamiliar cyanolichen (Skyea Mag). Disturbance moderate. Himalayan blackberry in draw. Cheatgrass cover was relatively low (6-25% ) and bunchgrasses high (51-75%). No grazing was evident though deer and bear sign were plentiful. Pittsburg Formation (sedimentary and metamorphosed intrusive and volcanic rocks). Slope 50%. Aspect 180°. Abundance code: 1. Spot Tests: Medulla K+Y-->O, P+O; TLC: stictic and nostictic .
