Compared to 10 years ago, area is no longer grazed, though pack horses still come through. Grass is long and additional weeds have gained a foothold. We noticed Himalayan blackberry in the creek bed, which was absent before but is now choking the creek in some places. Also more of the other weeds not recorded previously. Slope 50%. Aspect 350°. Veg. cover: Prunus (plum), Rhus glabra, Rosa sp., composite (aster/sunflower), Verbascum lanatum, Xanthoria stomascum, Beggar's lice, Dypsakus sylvestrix, wild lettuce, horse tomato (Solanum nigrum) Acchlica millefolium. Prunus (plum), Rhus glabra, Rosa sp., composite (aster/sunflower), Verbascum lanatum, Xanthoria stomascum, Beggar's lice, Dypsakus sylvestrix, wild lettuce, horse tomato (Solanum nigrum) Acchlica millefolium.; Rhus radicous, CERE2; graminoid Lichens dominated by Xanthoriods and Physcia with spots of Melanelia and Physconia on most trees.
