100 yr old PSME stand on north side of mountain, but also exposed to winds from the east. Many trees on plot, all appear bare except for crusts. Nearly all lichens were confined to the bases of the tree boles. Dominant lichen was Hypphy, but also some Letvul, Tucchl, Melanelia and little else. Slope 54%. Aspect 7°. Abundance code: 1. Substrate: base of PSME bole.
