Mixed conifer stand is dense with closed canopy. Several residual overstory trees (PIPO, PSME, and ABCO) ranging from 24-48" dbh. However, most of understory is pole-sized to small sawtimber ABCO with some PSME (5-14" dbh). Some shrubs (AMAL, CHCH) and forbs are scattered across the forest floor; however, much of floor is covered with needles and cones. Lichen diversity is moderately high with several nitrophilous species (Santhoria and Physconia). Plagla and Ramfar are hypersorediate, evidence of nitrogen volatilization from hyperentrophic Upper Klamath Lake. Slope 20%. Aspect 97°. Abundance code: 4-1.
