In small, slightly raised patch of sage-grassland surrounded by Sarcobatus sp. near the south edge of Walter Lake. With Bromus tectorum, Achnatherium sp., Poa secunda and Artemisia tridentata. On soil. Other soil crust species include Bryum caespiticium, Diploschistes muscorum, Acarospora schleicheri, Cladonia sp. and Psora sp. Substrate: terricolous.
