Mature stand of P. menziesii with occasional mature P. ponderosa and one mature Acer macrophyllum. Several Cupressus nootkatensis saplings and numerous young P. menziesii. Shrubs occuring mostly in dry drainage , incliding H. discolor, Acer circinatum and Cornius nuttallii. Aside from tree/shrub species, very little in the way of understory. High lichen diversity and low lichen biomass. H. imshaugii is the most abundant with quite a bit of Nodobryoria abbreviata, T. platyphylla, and T. orbata, and L. vulpina. The one mature Acer macrophyllum yielded 13 sp. of lichens found no where else on plot. Slope 32%. Aspect 259°. Abundance code: 1. Substrate: ACMA br.
