Top of plot is at cross of Herman Ck trail & powerline. Plot near Hwy 84 N and campground to the S, and bordered by powerlines to the N. Elev. 106 ft.

PSME forest. The plot has a cohort of PSME that are over 100 years old and a younger cohort of PSME. Canopy openings and ACCI abundance downslope from plotcenter. Slope 0%. Abundance code: 4.2; isidia; The abundance of lichens was relatively high, with PLAGLA , PLASTE, and HYPINA as the most abundant. Notable (paucity?) of cyanoichens - some reddening & browning of PLAGLA suggesting acid deposition. Substrate: PSME. Phenology: soralia.
