Non-native hardwoods seem to be all that grows here in this Kennewick area. All are said to be excaped cultivars. The Populus deltoidea trees here were quite large (up to 50") and widely spaced as you might expect in a park after all. Strange - the PODE had a fair cover of Xanthoria on their lower boles (lichens stopped at around 7-10 feet above the ground) but the other species of trees as a rule had far less to none at all.
