On the upper southern slope of a ridge. Very rocky with only 5-7% tree cover. There was no ground vegetation. Most of trees present had a dbh ~5" while there were two large barkless snags (dbh ~15-20) and a few larger PIAL (~15"). Trees looked very stunted and are probably growing quite slowly. Most lichens were saxicolous - this community was overwhelmingly diverse. There were a few epiphytes growing mainly on PIAL (Paramb, Letvul, Letcol, Hyp sp). Slope 31%. Aspect 203°. Abundance code: 4-1. Substrate: Soil.
