Canyon is steep and narrow at this point. We believe this is the last CERE2 grove before PIPO forest reaches creek bottom. This is a small grove of 10' tall trees on 65% slope on the NE side of the creek. Dense riparian vegetation in creek bottom. Disturbance none to light. Many bunchgrass clumps but also a lot of cheatgrass (26-50% cover), not many other weeds. No current grazing. Late Triassic/Mid Jurrasic Intrusives. Slope 75%. Aspect 230°. Abundance code: 2. Substrate: CERE.
