On bark Doug Fir trail side, habitat:coniferous forest with Doug Fir, Cedar, Queen's Cup and Oregongrape. Substrate:bark Doug Fir. Apothecia 0.6 millimeters, head 0.3 millimeters, stalk brown and dark red brown, head dark red, spores ellipsoid weak 1 septate 5 to 7. (Filed with: Chaenotheca chrysocephala L4728), See EB # L4727 same tree, see EB # L4728A, L4728B and L4728 same collection. K + turns stalk and head green brown. Substrate: corticolous.
