Washington: Snohomish County: Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Troublesome Creek area. From Highway 2 take the Index-Galena road to Troublesome Creek. Take Forest Service Nature trail from Forest Service Road 63. At Troublesome Creek bridge went up stream on right side of creek on old trail.

Coniferous Forest with Red Huckleberry, Doug Fir and Hemlock. On bark of a very large old growth Doug Fir. Substrate: Bark old growth Doug Fir. Apothecia 0.6 millimeters, stalk red brown, head brown, spores 1 septate ellipsoid 6 to 8, with algae trebouxioid, and trentepohlia. See EB #L4626 same tree. See EB #L4625 same collection.
