Coniferous forest with hemlock, huckleberry, and salal. Lake side. Substrate: bark of Douglas fir. Apothecia .9 millimeters, stalk and head reddish brown to brown, asci 33 to 45, spores weak 1 septate 5 to 7, only a few pins. See EB # L4318A, L4318B, L4318C, and L4318D (same collection). K+ green head and stalk. Substrate: corticolous. Phenology: apothecia.
