From Highway 2 take the National Forest Skykomish River Road to Forest Service Road 6300 then 6300 to its end. Take the trail to 1 kilometer area just past Wilderness sign. [Located] just past 1 kilometer [mark]. G.P.S. reading.

Coniferous forest. On a large snag. Substrate: Bare wood snag. Apothecia 1.8 millimeters, spores round 3 to 4. Has a thallus, ahs a excipulum, algae trebouxioid. Substrate: lignicolous.
