Open Ponderosa forest which was havested 90-100 years ago. Mature trees are >25 dbh with understory of PIPO and PICO - sapling to pole size. Stumps were burned in spots on plot. Tree distrib. is clumpy for understory and widely scattered for OG. Slope 4%. Aspect 120°. Abundance code: 3. Small psedocyphellae. . With Bryoria pseudofuscescens. Spot Tests: K+O, C-, P+Y, KC+Y.
