Mature open stand dominated by PSME w/ ABLA & ABGR. It was difficult to tell the diff btwn Abies, but majority of comm was collected on PSMEs. Many saplings of PSME densely growing. Slope 34%. Aspect 270°. Veg. cover: PICO, SPIR. PICO, SPIR.; PSME, ABGR, ABLA; grasses, forbs Bryfre & Brygla(?) cover almost all tree branches. Lichen abundance is fairly high but the diversity is fairly normal for dry PSME env. Collected ~32 packets. Collected Brytor, but was rare for abundance rating. . Substrate: Basalt. Phenology: soredia.
