Washington: Snohomish County: Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. North Fork Skykomish River area. From Highway 2, take the Index-galena road Forest Service road 63 to bridge across North Fork Skykomish River to Salmon Creek. Went down stream just across bridge to a camping area.

Coniferous forest with hemlock, cedar, salal, and red huckleberry. Substrate: bark of cedar tree. Apothecia .6 millimeters, stalk greenish-brown, head brownish, spores 1 septate ellipsoid 6 to 10, with algae trentepohlia. See EB # L5100 and L5102 (same tree). See EB # L5101A (same collection). Did not redo spores 9/2/2005. Substrate: corticolous. Phenology: apothecia.
