Plot is approximately 8 miles west-southwest. Access via 100, and 100-300. Plot is approximately 1.5 miles south-southwest of intersection 100, and 100-300, 0.15 miles west of culvert 100-300-20 about 70 meters north. Elev. 498 m.

Slope 0°, Aspect 0°. Forest on edge of Ledum/Myrica gale dominated wetland with approximately 70% canopy cover: Tsuga heterophylla 35%, Thuja plicata 45%, Alnus rubra 10%. Largest tree a 30" DBH decumbent Thuja plicata. Picea sitchensis in proximity, some reproducing in plot. Understory Gaultheria shallon, Menzeisia ferruginea, Vaccinium parvifolium, Lonicera sp., Crataegus sp., Rubus spectabilis, Acer circinatum. Associated species: Bazzania denudata, Bazzania ambigua. Partially shaded periodically inundated coarse woody debris (decay class 3). Substrate: lignicolous.
