In low mixed grasses and forbs with much exposed mineral soil, excellent ephemeral moss habitat., partially shaded by grass, floodplain, slope: 0%, aspect: 0?; mineral soil. Deschampsia cespitosa, Epilobium, Holcus lanatus, Anthoxanthum odoratum, Fraxinus latifolia, Kindbergia oregana, Juncus bufonius, Peltigera praetextata, Salix Near E side of unit. This is the largest population I have seen, in excellent ephemeral moss habitat. One large patch is about 3 square inches.; Mature spores not seen (D. Thomas, 2025/02/15).
