Idaho: Blaine County: Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve 18 miles SW of Arco, Hwy 20/26 Arco, Idaho USA.¶Little Wood River, Snake River Watershed, Blaine County.¶Location: Big Juniper Kipuka. Approximately 70 km SSW of Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve Headquarters. Access easiest via Crystal Ice Cave Road approximately 26 road miles from Aberdeen. Elev. 1500 m.

Datum: NAD 83.
Substrate: Partially shaded xeric cool airflow lava.¶Habitat: Big sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata) dominated steppe with scattered junipers (Juniperus scopulorum). Soils heavy, luss.
