Slope 2º, Aspect 200º. Unthinned plot: 80% Alnus rubra dominated floodplain including annual overflow channel. Lower plot <10 years Alnus rubra, mid-section >10<40 years Alnus rubra. Upper part plot on higher terrace with approximately 80 years old Pseudotsuga menziesii, a few approximately 40 years Abies grandis, and Acer macrophyllum with Acer circinatum in understory (with high cryptogam diversity). Associated species: Claopodium crispifolium (Hook.) Ren. & Card. Substrate: partially shaded mesic mineral soil. Abundance: 3. Substrate: terricolous.
