Washington: Chelan County: Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Entiat Ranger District. ¶Okanogan-Wenatchee NF Fen Study, Tommy Creek wetland. From Hwy 97A turn onto the Entiat River road and follow approx. 30 miles to the Tommy Creek Rd. (FS 5605). (NAD83). Sec. 10, T28N R18E WM. ¶Turn onto 5605 and follow it until it ends at the Tommy Creek Trailhead. From the trailhead, hike up the trail a little less than a mile to where the stream that drains the wetland crosses under the trail. Hike up the stream less than 1/4 mi to wetland. ¶¶¶ Elev. 4920 ft.

Light: partially shaded. Topography: toeslope. ¶This wetland is in a small bowl/basin, where water is slow and this fen has developed. There are channels throughout and a couple spring "wells" in the wetland. It has partial tree cover and dominant shrub is Ledum glandulosum. There were a lot of liverworts at this site.¶ Associate Species: ABLA, PIEN, PIMO3, PICO, PIAL, TSME, LEGL, SOSC2, LOINS, KAMI, HAST3, SALIX, RHAL2, LUPO2, SYFOF, SETR, POOC2, GECA, PSRO, PLST4, PEGR2, ERANA3, ARMO4, CAREXX, VEVI. Location Notes: plants were growing on Sphagnum, other moss and wood substrates throughout the wetland. ¶¶[Envelope with multiple specimens, filed under the first name on packet.] Substrate: terricolous.
