Open (canopy cover 80%) old growth dominated by TSHE (80%, to 6 feet DBH), ABAM (20%, to 24 inches DBH). ABAM in regeneration, VAcfAL, MEFE, RUPE, MADI in understory. Associated species: Blepharostoma trichophyllum, Cephalozia bucuspidata. Substrate: partially shaded moist CWD (decay class 5).
