Washington: Kittitas County: Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Cle Elum Ranger District. Okanogan- Wenatchee NF Fen Study, Mardee Lake is on Snoqualmie Pass, just off I-90. From Cle Elum take exit 54, turn north onto Lake Mardee Rd. Park in large gravel area and walk north across bridge over coal Creek and then east for a while along a road, then NE toward the lake. Elev. 2550 ft.
UTM Zone 10T , 621548E, 5250763N; T22N R11E WM, Sec. 15.
Habitat: plants occur on the west side of the lake where Sphagnum hummocks dominate the wetland. Plants are scattered on down woody debris among the hummocks. ¶Aspect: 180°. Slope" 0%. Light: partially shaded. Topography: toeslope. ¶Associated Species: CAAR2. CABR15, CABU6, CACA11, CALAA, CALE8, CALE10, CAME6, CAUT, DRRO, HYAN2, LEGR, LOION5, LYAM3, MADI, METR3, MEFE, MIGU, SPDO, TOGL2, TRCA, TRAR2. Substrate: rotten log, decay class 4. ¶Location Notes: plants are along the western edge of the lake. Survey was the western edge of the lake from about mid-lake to the north. ¶¶¶[Envelope with multiple specimens, filed under the first name on packet.]¶ Substrate: corticolous.
