Idaho: Blaine County: Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve 18 miles SW of Arco, Hwy 20/26 Arco, Idaho USA.¶Little Wood River, Snake River Watershed, Blaine County.¶Location: Brass Cap Kipuka. Approximately 15 km SSW of Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve Headquarters. Just east of Lava lake. Elev. 1591 m.

Datum: NAD 83.
Ass. sp.: Porella cordaeana (Hüb.) Moore. ¶Ass. sp.: Cephaloziella divaricata (Sm.) Schiffn.¶Substrate: Partially shaded mesic cool airflow cave bottom lava. ¶Habitat: Sagebrush (Artemisia arbuscula) dominated steppe with scattered Big sage (A.tridentata). Soils heavy with much luss, resulting in run-off and stagnant water in depressions after winter snowmelt.
