Washington: Okanogan County: Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Tonasket Ranger District Long Swamp. From Loomis, head north toward Palmer Lake and turn left on Toats Coulee Rd. (39 road.) Travel until 1/2 miles east of Long Swamp Campground. Park on the road and walk down hill to wetland. Plants are on the hummocks of the willows/sedges/moss in the lower half of that meadow east of the campground. Aspect: 90°. Slope: 0%. Elev. 5430 ft.

Plants occur in the Long Swamp wetland complex. These plants occur in the lower half of the open meadow to the east of Long Swamp Campgrounds. Substrate: moss and soil.¶Light: partially shaded. ¶Topography: wetland complex. ¶Note: median cells to 150μm, ends mostly sharply pointed. ¶¶Location Notes: plants are dispersed throughout the meadow amongst sphagnum hummocks. This fen is dominated by sedges with some willow component. ¶¶Verification Notes: weak central strand; partial hyalodermisl no apparent alar cells; costa single (sometimes forked0 to mid-leaf; median cells 1μm up to 130 μm, mostly fusiform but some rounded/truncate. (EH) Median cells up to 160μm, ends mostly sharply pointed. (DHW)¶¶Associated species: PIEN, PICO, Salix species, CASCP, CAUT, CACA4, LOINS, COPA28, BEGL, Viola species, ERCH7, PLDID, ERPH, CALE10, Sphagnum species, AUPA70, CALI7 and CATES. Substrate: terricolous.
