Oregon: Coos County: Cape Arago, 1 - 1-1/2 miles northeast of Charleston on east side of highway.
On ground in more or less wet pasture. With Limbella tricostata ssp. fryei.¶Part of type, isotype.¶[Hand-drawn map of type location included with specimen.] Type spot is now the back yard of a house (1950). This is a part of the original gathering, some of which was sent to R.S. Williams of N.Y. Bot. Gard. for naming. -Frye. Substrate: terricolous. Fragment of Type: Sciaromium fryei R.S. Williams.
