Washington: San Juan County: Salmon Bank, at the south end of San Juan Island.

Growing on rocks and worm tubes in the subtidal zone to a depth of 10 fathoms. Thallus flattened, stipitate, up to 10 centimeters high, bright rose red in colour, with a few alternate branches of approximately uniform width throughout; all branches have a percurrent midrib; margins of branches distinctly serrate.
