Growing on top of a dead stump located on eastern edge of small pond approximately 2.5 meters above ground level. Required climbing and deemed unable to safely collect. No tree cover. Shrub cover (10%): Spiraea douglasii, and Gaultheria shallon. Emergent cover (100%): Phalaris arundinacea, Juncus effusus, Sparganium sp., Persicaria hydropiperoides, and Typha latifolia. Small spreading shrub, 3.25 meters tall, hot pink leaf buds, small amount of red to translucent berries present. Reproductive state: Vegetative.
