Island is low, ca. [circa] 30 feet high, relatively flat, with extensive bedrock outcrops throughout. Sedum lanceolatum is abundant across the bedrock. A large swale in mid-island is dense Rosa nutkana thicket. A couple of small vernal pools in the bedrock near the south side are noteworthy. Yellow flowers; perennial; petals greater than 10, long and narrow; don\'t see Ranunculus occidentalis. Reproductive state: Flowers & Fruits. Origin: Native.
